Regular visitors to our site will know that we tend to publish our thoughts in terms of evidence-based articles, often involving our "maps" to illustrate things.
We thought we would try something a little different, so we invited a long-standing friend, John Powderly, to share some of his professional learnings about "people", framed within the Values Modes context.
What you will find in these bite-sized articles are John's thoughts with virtually no editorial control exerted by Cultural Dynamics. What we wanted was for John to be free to express his perspectives freely.
John styles himself as a "Consultant Facilitator". His mission is to help others, particularly in leadership roles, to understand better the issues that confront them; to see the wood for the trees; and to discover new and better paths forward.
If I might be allowed to express a personal view, I have worked with John on some very difficult projects over the years - situations that would make many people blanche - and John is one of the most courageous people I know. His greatest strength is a strong empathic sense coupled with an uncanny ability to "look inwards".
We hope you enjoy this series. (Just scroll down for the index, which we'll keep updated).
This is John and, if you would like to contact him, you can do so at jp.powderly@gmail.com.
